How to Play:
Step 1: Tap or click the screen to record audio using your device's microphone.
(option 2: instead of using the microphone, we have provided samples for you to download and re-upload into the game. But feel free to use your own audio files as well)
Step 2: Manipulate the audio using the UI buttons.
Step 3: Sounds will be randomly place in the circle/trigger area. See what you can create
Step 4: Optional, export your session using the export button in the top left corner to save or share with a friend. (file will also include the audio you recorded or uploaded).

Theme:
The Original idea was a gamified looper that makes the music production process fun. The game's mechanic makes use of the microphone (on the players phone/computer) to record snippets of audio. At first the purpose of the mechanic was to create loops, but after testing with some friends. We learned that the game was not obvious without some direction. Once players understood how to play, many said that they couldn't hear the audio while recording the loop. The audio would only become audible after already being recorded. After much thought we decided to build around this idea by rebranding as a chance sampler. Therefore the bug we built around was randomly inserting "found sounds" into a trigger sequencer to generate rhythms by chance. A few extra features we add were:
1. allowing the player to upload their own songs
2. no monitoring the sound while its being recorded.
